The Rules have not changed for Drive-In’s.
1. Park 2 Metres away for your neighbour.
2. Sitting outside is permitted, but note rule #1!
3. Masks must be worn if you are entering the building for the snack-bar or bathrooms.
4. Vaccine passports are NOT required, as you have your mask on while in the building.

      These are the rules assigned by the Provincial Government to allow us to re-open.  If you choose to ignore the rules, there is a very good chance we will be forced to close again, and possibly even shut down the movie during the show! No Refunds if one person ruins it for everybody else.  These are NOT my rules! They are the law, as of today!

Flat $20 fee per car. NO CHANGE TO BE GIVEN!

We do accept Debit and Credit Tap, or Pin.


Playground is CLOSED!


You must stay in your car, except to go to the Bathroom. No dog walking!


You CANNOT sit in the back of your truck.


If you are in a convertible, top remains up.


No Motorcycles or trikes. The vehicle must be enclosed.


If you bring in outside food and drink, You MUST take it home with you!

Drive-in cinemas and businesses or places that provide drive-in or drive-through concerts, artistic events, theatrical performances or other performances may open if they comply with the following conditions:

1. Each person in attendance at the drive-in cinema or the business or place, other than persons who perform work for the drive-in cinema or the business or place, must remain within a motor vehicle designed to be closed to the elements except where necessary,

i. to purchase admission, food or beverages,

ii. to access a washroom, or

iii. for the purposes of health and safety.

2. The driver of a motor vehicle at the drive-in cinema or the business or place must ensure that it is positioned at least two metres away from other motor vehicles.

3. Every performer or other person who performs work at the drive-in cinema or the business or place must remain at least two metres apart from motor vehicles and from every other person, except,

i. if it is necessary for the performers to be closer to each other for the purposes of the performance,

ii. where necessary for the purposes of facilitating the purchase of admission, food or beverages, or

iii. where necessary for the purposes of health and safety.

4. Food and beverages may only be sold to persons in attendance at the drive-in cinema or the business or place if,

i. the food or beverage is sold at a concession stand that requires patrons to stand at least two metres apart while waiting to be served and that requires patrons to immediately return to their motor vehicle after being served, or

ii. the food or beverage is delivered directly to the patron’s motor vehicle.

5. No materials may be exchanged between persons in attendance at the drive-in cinema or the business or place, except,

i. materials exchanged between members of the same motor vehicle,

ii. materials exchanged between persons who perform work for the drive-in cinema or the business or place, and

iii. such materials as are necessary to facilitate the purchase of admission, food or beverages.

 

 

 

 

 

Q1.      When can I go to a drive-in movie theatre?        

Drive-in movie theatres will be permitted to reopen provided they comply withcertain conditions to protect the health and safety of the public and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Q2.      How many people are allowed in my vehicle?

Only members of the same household may occupy the same motor vehicle.

Q3.      Can I park my vehicle anywhere to watch the movie?

The driver of a motor vehicle at the drive-in theatre must ensure that it is positioned at least two metres away from other motor vehicles.

Q4.      How are we protecting the people who work in the drive-in movie theatres?

Every person working at the drive-in cinema will be required to follow documented health and safety guidelines.

Q5.      Do I have to stay in my vehicle?

Each person in attendance at the drive-in theatre, other than persons working at the drive-in cinema, must remain within a motor vehicle designed to be closed to the elementsexcept,

  • where necessary to purchase admission to the drive-in cinema,
  • where necessary to use a washroom, or
  • as may otherwise be required for the purposes of health and safety.

Q6.      Can I watch the movie from my convertible or sit in the back of my pick-up truck?

Each person in attendance at the drive-in movie theatre, other than persons working at the drive-in movie theatre, must remain within a motor vehicle designed to be closed to the elements.

Q7.      Will I be able to use a washroom while I’m at a drive-in movie theatre?

Yes. Any washrooms that are open for use at the drive-in movie theatre must be cleaned and disinfected as frequently as is necessary to maintain a sanitary environment.

Q8.      Will I be able to buy popcorn or drinks or other snacks?

Yes, Food and beverages may only be sold to persons in attendance at the drive-in cinema. When in line, stay two metres apart, face masks must be worn in the building, whether getting snacks or using the bathrooms. Once you get your treats, you must return directly to your car. No outside visiting with neighbours please!

Q9.      Can I share my snacks with people in another vehicle?

No materials may be exchanged between persons at the drive-in movie theatre, except materials exchanged between members of the same household in the same vehicle.

Q10.    Which drive-in movie theatres can open?

Only those drive-in movie theatres that were in existence as of May 29, 2020 are permitted to open.
